Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hands-on pedestrian modelling across the full workflow from demand processing to building models, analysis, and report compilation.
  • •Attend project meetings with stakeholders and clients, supporting senior staff to learn and develop consulting skills.
  • •Interface with other disciplines to obtain design/operational inputs and to provide pedestrian modelling outputs.
  • •Contribute to project scope and programme for smaller projects, monitoring financials and progress (for more senior progression).
  • •Support development of new services through researching people-movement data capture/analytics technologies and trends (as relevant).

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in a numerate, transport, or planning-related discipline (e.g., geography).
  • •Pedestrian modelling experience delivering projects to a high standard with understanding of client/project goals.
  • •Knowledge of relevant pedestrian planning guidance and static capacity assessment techniques (e.g., PCL).
  • •Communication skills for written reports and formal presentations to non-technical audiences.
  • •For Senior Consultants: some experience with project management (estimating tasks, budget/time, and delivering on time and budget).
