Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the review and enhancement of the middleware observability strategy for comprehensive monitoring coverage.
  • •Support migration from Splunk to the ELK stack to ensure seamless transition and improved functionality.
  • •Develop and maintain integrations with internal AI/ML frameworks to improve operational support and incident response.
  • •Evaluate and implement OpenTelemetry (OTEL) across the middleware stack and design observability strategies for public cloud deployments.
  • •Use Python to identify and implement automation initiatives and participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 6+ years with a PhD (or 10+ years relevant experience).
  • •5+ years with observability solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK.
  • •Strong Python coding skills for automation tools and integrations.
  • •Working knowledge of middleware products such as Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, Hazelcast, and IBM DataPower.
  • •Familiarity with public cloud monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform or Ansible).
