Key Responsibilities

•Lead the review and enhancement of the middleware observability strategy for comprehensive monitoring coverage.
•Support migration from Splunk to the ELK stack to ensure seamless transition and improved functionality.
•Develop and maintain integrations with internal AI/ML frameworks to improve operational support and incident response.
•Evaluate and implement OpenTelemetry (OTEL) across the middleware stack and design observability strategies for public cloud deployments.
•Use Python to identify and implement automation initiatives and participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 6+ years with a PhD (or 10+ years relevant experience).
•5+ years with observability solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK.
•Strong Python coding skills for automation tools and integrations.
•Working knowledge of middleware products such as Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, Hazelcast, and IBM DataPower.
•Familiarity with public cloud monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform or Ansible).
