Key Responsibilities

  • •Own reliability, capacity, and cost efficiency of hybrid compute infrastructure across AWS and on-prem, including hardware lifecycle.
  • •Contribute to and shape platform architecture by making and advocating technical decisions with peers.
  • •Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-prem.
  • •Drive the technical work to deepen and unify the hybrid model for workloads across on-prem hardware and AWS.
  • •Define infrastructure-as-code and platform standards, strengthen observability and security, and lead incident response for hybrid infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •Designed, built, and operated Kubernetes clusters at scale through their full lifecycle.
  • •Deep experience with either public cloud or on-prem infrastructure, with credibility to work in the other; AWS experience preferred and bare-metal/data center experience valued.
  • •Strong networking and Linux debugging skills, able to trace issues from containers to the network edge.
  • •Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform (or equivalent) and GitOps delivery using tooling such as ArgoCD in production environments you’ve owned.
  • •Software engineering skills in at least one major language (Go or Python preferred) and a track record of technical ownership across multiple teams.
