Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate transfer trucks and/or dump trucks safely and efficiently, including equipment with and without pups and tarping systems.
  • •Deliver aggregates (including asphalt) and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
  • •Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • •Maneuver and back with a pup trailer, including connecting and disconnecting the pup trailer.
  • •Communicate effectively using the radio system and maintain safe operations according to CRH safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required, plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A with double/triple and air brake endorsements.
  • •Must possess a valid Medical Card per DOT standard.
  • •Incident-free driving record preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively using two-way radio, follow verbal and written instructions, and complete basic math; basic computer skills preferred.
