Job Summary

Operate transfer and/or dump trucks safely and efficiently to deliver aggregates (including asphalt) and other materials to residential and commercial locations. Apply CRH safety policies to protect employees, customers, and the public while handling equipment such as end dumps and belly dumps, pup trailers, and tarping systems. Maintain accurate time and material records, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively using the radio system.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate transfer trucks and/or dump trucks safely and efficiently, including equipment with and without pups and tarping systems.
•Deliver aggregates (including asphalt) and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
•Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Maneuver and back with a pup trailer, including connecting and disconnecting the pup trailer.
•Communicate effectively using the radio system and maintain safe operations according to CRH safety policies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required, plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A with double/triple and air brake endorsements.
•Must possess a valid Medical Card per DOT standard.
•Incident-free driving record preferred.
•Ability to communicate effectively using two-way radio, follow verbal and written instructions, and complete basic math; basic computer skills preferred.
