Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and personally deliver water distribution model build, calibration, verification, and maintenance from asset audit through final calibrated and peaked submission.
  • •Own the technical workflow: field test planning, data cleansing, demand analysis, head graphs, flow/reservoir balances, calibration, peaking, and scenario development.
  • •Assess network capacity, growth impacts, zonal analysis, DMA and pressure-managed area design, and level-of-service against client criteria.
  • •Develop and appraise engineering options (e.g., pipe upsizing, rezoning, transmission mains, storage, booster/pump upgrades, pressure control) and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • •Act as line manager for the Philippines water supply modelling team, set technical standards, perform QA/QC sign-offs, and present modelling findings to client stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 10 or more years of experience in water supply or water distribution network hydraulic modelling.
  • •Hands-on delivery of potable water distribution network full model build and calibration lifecycles (not just model running or data support).
  • •Strong hydraulic fundamentals, including headloss/pressure performance, pump and system curve behavior, storage/reservoir balance, and calibration logic.
  • •Proven competence using a recognised network modelling platform, evidenced by delivered projects.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental & Sanitary or Water Resources Engineering; must be amenable to a fixed night shift schedule and 3 days onsite per week.
