Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior technical and design leadership across major Building Engineering projects, focusing on quality, programme, budget, and client outcomes.
  • •Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery of a portfolio of projects.
  • •Work directly with clients to understand needs, build relationships, and deliver practical engineering and design solutions.
  • •Lead design management, technical reviews, and project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Provide commercial oversight across projects, including budgets, pricing, contracts, project reviews, and financial performance, and support work winning through client engagement and proposals/tender presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering, ideally with more than 20 years’ experience in Australia’s building services industry.
  • •Chartered Engineer status and relevant registrations.
  • •Extensive experience in building engineering, including design and delivery of complex, multidisciplinary building services projects.
  • •Proven experience in a senior technical, project, or business leadership role, with strong commercial understanding (budgets, programmes, contracts, financial performance).
  • •Strong client engagement, commercial management and negotiations, plus experience leading and developing high-performing project teams.
