Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy and multi-year roadmap for ERP and surrounding finance platforms.
  • •Lead, hire, and grow a senior engineering team; set engineering quality standards for correctness, auditability, and resilience.
  • •Build SOX engineering foundations: tooling, controls, and change-management practices that embed SOX compliance into engineering.
  • •Improve operational maturity across deployment frequency, observability, incident response, and change control.
  • •Co-own the engineering roadmap with Finance and Product by translating Group Finance priorities into a credible plan and driving automation/AI opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams in finance, fintech, or other regulated/audited domains.
  • •Deep experience with Tier 1 ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials, or NetSuite) at enterprise scale, including leading at least one migration, consolidation, or major modernisation.
  • •SOX (or equivalent control-environment) experience: built engineering practices that hold up to external audit.
  • •Comfort across ERP architecture with vendor configuration, custom extensions, integration middleware, and event-driven patterns.
  • •Stakeholder fluency at the CFO level, partnering with finance business process leads to align on complex trade-offs and ship in increments.
