  • •Supervise and coordinate daily material flow activities to meet production needs, directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services and supervising staff.
  • •Implement lean management efforts to increase velocity and minimize inventory levels; create and own logistics action plans and countermeasures.
  • •Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments, including comparing identifiers and counts/weights/measures against shipping documents.
  • •Manage warehouse systems for receiving, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping; develop material flow designs and recommend equipment.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements, and maintain safe, secure, healthy work environments.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems for manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement, and distribution.
