Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
•Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure goods are securely loaded and protected from damage.
•Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, respecting customer property and consulting with customers or management where necessary.
•Check and confirm deliveries with customers, obtaining signatures and completing all required documentation.
•Use company-issued technology (e.g. tablets) as part of daily operations.

Key Requirements

•Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
•Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
•Previous experience in a similar driving role delivering a professional and customer-focused service
•Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices; good numeracy and literacy skills
•Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment; flexibility to work additional hours
