Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the shift supervisor with allocating production operatives to machines and support production quality monitoring throughout the shift.
  • •Carry out scheduled 2-hourly checks on production machines and monitor quality of others’ work to ensure procedures are followed.
  • •Supervise sorting and ensure associated paperwork is completed; report progress to production control.
  • •Supervise packing personnel as needed to ensure departmental standards are adhered to.
  • •Check BRC compliance at the beginning of every shift and support audits while maintaining safe, clean working conditions each shift.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in a fast moving production environment.
  • •Quality control experience would be advantageous.
  • •Ability to plans and organizes own work with a high level of accuracy.
  • •Strong communication skills verbally and in writing at all levels.
  • •Basic computer skills and proven ability to work to specific work quality standards.
