Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and development of data center cooling solutions using Eaton’s portfolio and third-party equipment with process engineering and continuous improvement.
  • •Provide mechanical engineering leadership for systems including whitespace design, chiller plants, AHUs, fan wall units, and facility water systems.
  • •Develop and implement advanced cooling strategies using air, liquid, and hybrid systems with continuous monitoring.
  • •Research, evaluate, and design solutions for emerging cooling technologies such as direct-to-chip liquid cooling and CDUs.
  • •Conduct and/or support CFD analysis and produce technical documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and successful project execution and handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •5–10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, including 3–5 years focused on data center or mission-critical projects.
  • •Chartered Engineer status or active progression toward chartership is highly desirable.
  • •Deep technical knowledge of data center power and cooling architectures, including HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, motors, and BMS controls.
  • •Experience with design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD and Revit (CFD tool experience desirable); fluent in English.
