Job Summary

Lead development, tracking, and sustainment of Power Testing and Energization (PTE) focused training, coordinating with the WSP Training department to integrate courses into Horizon LMS and deliver both virtual and in-person sessions. Act as the primary facilitator and coordinator for safety, human performance improvement, and compliance training across multiple US sites, while supporting project teams and interfacing with SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development, tracking, and sustainment of technical training focused on PTE needs, with emphasis on safety, Human Performance, and compliance.
•Support PTE project teams by managing SME updates and coordinating with WSP Power & Energy SMEs and external SMEs as appropriate.
•Facilitate classroom and virtual training sessions using adult learning principles across field, project, client, and internal needs.
•Lead or support curriculum content, presentations, reference guides, and communications to support ongoing staff development.
•Develop and deliver technical training with knowledge management and mentoring within PTE and WSP, coordinating with other business lines for cross-collaboration.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•10+ years of experience in the electrical testing industry, including experience with apparatus, relaying, protection and controls, SCADA, and communications systems.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Experience in training adult learners, with demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and deliver both classroom and virtual training.
•Highly proficient with electrical engineering principles, practices, processes, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
