Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop HSSEQ Advisors across the Québec region to achieve performance goals.
  • •Drive alignment with WSP’s HSSEQ vision, priorities, and management systems across projects and teams.
  • •Oversee HSSEQ support for projects to ensure risk-based, compliant, and effective delivery.
  • •Influence safety outcomes by identifying risks, analyzing trends, and implementing proactive improvement strategies.
  • •Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to strengthen performance.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10 years of experience in construction or industrial project safety environments.
  • •Proven leadership experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of Canadian provincial OH&S legislation and industry best practices.
  • •Postsecondary education in Environment, Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
  • •Professional designation (CRSP, CRST, CHSO, or CHSC) is considered an asset; bilingual in French and English (required for Québec operations).
