Job Summary

Lead and coach HSSEQ Advisors across Québec to drive performance goals and build capability. Align teams to WSP’s HSSEQ vision and management systems, oversee risk-based and compliant HSSEQ support for projects, and improve safety outcomes by analyzing trends and leading proactive strategies. Partner with business leaders, project teams, and clients to embed safe practices throughout delivery, and lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and develop HSSEQ Advisors across the Québec region to achieve performance goals.
•Drive alignment with WSP’s HSSEQ vision, priorities, and management systems across projects and teams.
•Oversee HSSEQ support for projects to ensure risk-based, compliant, and effective delivery.
•Influence safety outcomes by identifying risks, analyzing trends, and implementing proactive improvement strategies.
•Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to strengthen performance.

Key Requirements

•8–10 years of experience in construction or industrial project safety environments.
•Proven leadership experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
•Strong knowledge of Canadian provincial OH&S legislation and industry best practices.
•Postsecondary education in Environment, Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
•Professional designation (CRSP, CRST, CHSO, or CHSC) is considered an asset; bilingual in French and English (required for Québec operations).
