Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the tailings management facilities’ (TMF) Operation, Maintenance, Surveillance (OMS) manuals and related water systems OMS manuals.
  • •Maintain site compliance with mining regulations and Copper Mountain Mine safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • •Observe Occupational Health and Safety Act, Mines Act, and Copper Mountain SOPs in all aspects of work.
  • •Assist in pipefitting and fusing, including bolting and unbolting HDPE pipe.
  • •Operate and assist with dozer, excavator, grader, and articulating rock trucks, and support operational issues such as relines and support maintenance during mill shutdown days.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 45.3 - 46.84

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Minimum 2 years operating dozer, excavator, grader, and articulating rock truck.
  • •Experience preferred in pipefitting/fusing, tailings facilities, and/or mine water systems.
  • •Must have safe rigging or be able to obtain certification.
  • •Valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license with access to personal transportation.
