•Analyze current equipment; identify inefficiencies and design instrumentation to meet needs.
•Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate, efficient equipment and instrumentation aligned with safety/usability standards and client expectations.
•Design and test prototypes of equipment including PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing.
•Oversee implementation of new measuring devices and control systems, ensuring devices are correctly installed and tested.
•Act as project engineer for design, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 113,000 - 149,000

Key Requirements

•5+ years of design, development, and installation of sensors to collect data on system performance
•NI LabVIEW or NI DAQmx experience or familiarity with other data acquisition systems
•Thorough understanding of signal conditioning for data acquisition (analog circuit design)
•Intimate knowledge of analog-to-digital conversion and digital circuit design
•Ability to write and understand Python and develop applications for data collection
