Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and coordinate Quay Crane training programmes, including training and assessments to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
  • •Assess and re-assess trainee competence, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • •Ensure training activities follow agreed training plans and timelines, supporting testing and commissioning for new equipment.
  • •Maintain accurate training records, attendance, assessment documentation, and progress reporting/logbooks.
  • •Conduct classroom and simulator-based training as a subject matter expert, and promote a positive learning culture and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience operating Quay Cranes in a container terminal or port environment or a related field.
  • •Proven ability to deliver effective training programs and facilitate adult learning.
  • •Strong knowledge of safety protocols and operational standards for Quay Crane operations.
  • •Ability to train, coach, and assess employees using a variety of learning methods, and provide constructive feedback.
  • •Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
