Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, deploy, and operate the next generation POS experience for hospitality properties, covering staff/device access, orders, kitchen operations, split bills, tips, payments, room charges, receipts, offline operation, and synchronization.
•Own the POS product codebase end to end across application code, services, infrastructure, delivery, and production reliability.
•Develop offline-first capabilities and synchronization mechanisms, including SQLite usage, write-ahead logging, retry, and conflict-handling patterns.
•Build and operate Python/FastAPI backend services supporting authentication, staff/device workflows, menus, orders, payments, receipts, and hotel-system integrations.
•Own observability, automated testing, release quality, performance, security, and production support for customer-critical workflows.

Key Requirements

•5+ years building, shipping, and operating production software, with strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
•Hands-on mobile/frontend development experience with React Native and Expo, including React Query and Zustand, plus SQLite experience.
•Strong fundamentals across maintainable architecture, automated testing, debugging, performance, security, and operational reliability.
•Experience designing relational data models and backend capabilities using PostgreSQL, caching, API design, and distributed/async or event-driven workflows.
•Hands-on cloud-native delivery and operations experience including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, AWS, CI/CD, observability, and production incident response.
