Job Summary

Design and review electrical and ICA elements for water and wastewater treatment projects across feasibility, outline, detail, and construction design stages. Lead deliverables such as load schedules, single line diagrams, MCC general arrangements, instrument schedules, cable calculations, and PLC/SCADA documentation. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients, support bids and proposals, and mentor junior engineers while helping shape digital tools like BIM, Projectwise, and intelligent P&IDs.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake electrical and ICA design and review for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including calculations and technical reporting.
•Develop and review key electrical deliverables such as load schedules, single line diagrams, MCC general arrangements, instrument schedules, and electrical installation/cable calculations.
•Engage in all design stages (feasibility through construction design) to ensure compliance with national and international design standards.
•Collaborate with other discipline teams and communicate with clients and collaborators throughout design and planning phases.
•Support bids and proposals, manage deliverables within budget and timeline, and mentor more junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience designing water and wastewater engineering deliverables, ideally including treatment schemes.
•BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
•Chartered (or near Chartered) Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
•Proven experience working at a senior engineer level at a consultancy within the water sector.
•Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and providing technical mentoring.
