Job Summary

Strategic Finance and Operations role responsible for scaling operations, collaborating with leadership across product, business development, and operations to evaluate new initiatives, manage financial planning, and ensure seamless execution. You will build financial models for partnerships and AI product initiatives, oversee FP&A, manage treasury and governance, assess risk and viability of AI/blockchain products, and bridge Finance with Product and GTM to drive measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Build financial models for commercial partnerships, token economics, and new AI product initiatives; prepare internal memos, board materials, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
•Oversee outsourced accounting functions, maintain financial forecast models, assist in annual budgeting, and coordinate treasury operations across multi-signature wallets, on-chain accounts, and off-chain entities.
•Partner on entity structuring, capital flows, and payment processes with ecosystem partners; manage fund disbursements, grants programs, and governance protocols for the Sentient Foundation; identify and implement improvements to financial and operational systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
•Evaluate the financial viability and commercial risks of AI and blockchain products, including pricing strategies, deal structuring, and ecosystem economics.
•Act as a bridge between Finance, Product, Business Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to solve complex problems and drive measurable outcomes.

Key Requirements

•2–5 years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, venture finance, startup operations, or a related field.
•Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required; experience with Python or data science tools a plus).
•Deep interest in and understanding of blockchain, AI, and financial products, including economics, tokenomics, risk management, and treasury operations.
•Proven ability to handle novel, cross-functional challenges with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, delivering results in lean, iterative environments.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle tactical execution and strategic thinking.
