Job Summary

Support the Fortinet Tax Department during Summer 2026 by assisting with US federal and state tax filings, SALT, and indirect taxes. You’ll work on tax compliance, financial reporting, and audit-ready workpapers, while leveraging AI/automation tools to streamline processes, extract data from ERP (Oracle) and Vertex, and collaborate across Accounting, Finance, AP/AR, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the preparation of U.S. Federal Income Tax Return (Form 1120) and various state/local filings (SALT).
•Help calculate and document quarterly estimated tax payments.
•Assist with indirect tax returns (sales/use tax, VAT/GST, CAT).
•Assist with audit projects by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to information requests.
•Support Tax Operations & Automation by extracting data from ERP/Vertex and using tools like Alteryx/Tableau to streamline tasks.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance (CPA-track preferred).

•Basic understanding of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles).
•Ability to translate complex tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders.
