Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organisational goals using spend analytics, market analysis, supplier assessments, and demand forecasting.
  • •Lead strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories, including market research, supplier identification, running tenders, and negotiating contracts with cross-functional input.
  • •Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitor compliance and performance, conduct supplier evaluations, and implement supplier development initiatives.
  • •Conduct cost management and optimisation through cost analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments; track category spending and address variances.
  • •Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks and establish KPIs/SLAs to monitor category performance, report recommendations, and implement improvement plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, engineering, finance, or a related field; beneficial to have a post graduate degree or certificate in Procurement or Supply Chain management.
  • •CIPS advanced diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • •5–8 years’ experience across end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management (category strategies, sourcing execution, contract negotiations, supplier management).
  • •Relevant experience leading complex/high-visibility Procurement and Supply Chain projects.
  • •Experience working in a multi-national/global supply chain environment.
