Job Summary

Lead the Property & Buildings practice in Minneapolis, overseeing strategic growth across healthcare, commercial, mission-critical, industrial, higher education, and science & technology sectors. Own local strategic planning, project and office financials, and client relationships; drive business development including RFQs/RFPs; lead multidisciplinary design teams; manage complex projects; and coach staff to build a high-performing, collaborative office culture aligned with WSP's innovation goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead business development initiatives including RFQs and RFPs; compile a comprehensive scope of work and prepare fee estimates for client proposals.
•Manage local strategic plan, project and office financial performance; track and report actual performance against plan.
•Drive technical excellence; lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage complex projects.
•Build and sustain trusted client relationships; represent the firm locally and regionally.
•Develop people and shape the future of the office and practice; mentor staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,300 - 239,140 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering; PE license preferred.
•12+ years of experience in design, including leadership roles.
•Proven track record in business development and client engagement within the property and buildings sector.
•Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
•High level of self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
