Job Summary

Oversee legal compliance and mitigate contractual risks for Academic Partner agreements. Monitor and review contract performance, maintain a contract register, and ensure adherence to institutional policies and applicable laws. Prepare and maintain audit documentation, coordinate with ZMU legal teams, and support drafting and contract-policy updates. Escalate significant risks to the Executive Director, follow information security protocols, and provide coaching and mentoring to strengthen team capability.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee contractual compliance and legal risks for Academic Partner agreements.
•Monitor and review contract performance, identifying deviations and breaches.
•Maintain an up-to-date contract register and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
•Prepare and maintain audit documentation and provide guidance on contractual matters.
•Coordinate with ZMU legal teams on contract-related matters and support drafting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
•Finance Certification or extensive knowledge of legal methodologies and tools.
•Minimum 12 years of experience for expats, or minimum 8 years for UAE Nationals.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including legal research and drafting skills.
•Familiarity with UAE legal frameworks and regulations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
