Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach and develop a team of Machine Learning specialists across seniority levels through regular 1:1s and structured development plans.
•Prioritize ML effort within Fraud to address high-impact problems while balancing customer protection, regulatory expectations, and delivery pace.
•Partner with Product Managers, Risk Partners, Engineering Managers, Data Managers and senior ML/Data colleagues to shape roadmaps and unblock delivery.
•Create conditions for high-quality ML delivery across the full model lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, governance and thorough documentation.
•Maintain a high bar for ML excellence in production, focusing on performance, explainability, reproducibility and safe operation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 113,200 - 153,200 annually

•Ability to operate in ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces and to bring stakeholders together to make pragmatic trade-offs.
•Excellent communication skills to explain trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences and to build trusted relationships across Product, Risk, Engineering, Data and senior stakeholders.
