Key Responsibilities

  • •Influence roadmap and deliver new features with continuous iteration based on outcomes.
  • •Drive projects from initial idea through operations once services reach customers.
  • •Design, build, operate, and maintain critical distributed telemetry systems while owning reliability, performance, and availability.
  • •Contribute to open-source culture by writing and reviewing PRs and design documents, and shepherd automated release rollouts.
  • •Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and support teammates through design discussions and collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid experience with at least one programming language; they use Go, but familiarity with Python, C, C++, Rust or similar is a plus.
  • •Experience leading and delivering projects from gathering requirements through shipping to customers.
  • •Experience developing software that runs in the cloud and following the DevOps model, including on-call.
  • •Ability to write clean, robust, performant software that is easily maintained by others.
  • •Comfortable with microservices architecture and distributed systems, plus familiarity with observability systems (metrics, logs, traces).
