Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct routine environmental inspections and monitoring for air, water, waste, emissions, and other assigned parameters.
  • •Verify compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, internal standards, and site environmental procedures; maintain monitoring records and support environmental reporting.
  • •Identify environmental risks, non-compliances, and improvement opportunities; support incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.
  • •Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and management system reviews; track findings and evidence for corrective action closure and support external audit readiness.
  • •Support implementation and maintenance of an ISO 14001 (or equivalent) environmental management system, including training delivery, stakeholder coordination, and environmental performance reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •3–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental monitoring, or HSE within mining, industrial, manufacturing, or high-risk operations.
  • •Familiarity with environmental regulations, permitting requirements, waste management, emissions control, sampling, inspections, and environmental management systems.
  • •ISO 14001 awareness or internal auditor certification; NEBOSH Environmental and OSHA are preferred.
  • •Strong field inspection, documentation, and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
