Job Summary

Scale and sharpen the operational foundation of the People function. Own People Ops strategy, architecture, workflows, and the operating model across onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, compliance, and HR tech stack evolution. Lead PEO relationships and drive audit-ready HR compliance and risk management. Turn people data into actionable reporting, and manage/develop a small People Ops team while partnering closely with employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead People Operations strategy and execution, owning People operations technology and analytics and designing end-to-end workflows across the employee lifecycle.
•Manage and optimize PEO relationships, overseeing payroll and benefits execution and holding vendors accountable for quality and accuracy.
•Drive HR compliance and risk management by keeping policies current and ensuring the company is audit-ready.
•Own and evolve the HR tech stack, including HRIS and connected platforms, and set roadmaps for integrations, automation, reporting, and AI-enabled workflows.
•Build and lead a high-performing People Ops team, turning people data into decisions and partnering with employees and managers on complex situations.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of HR/People Operations experience with demonstrated leadership of a team or function.
•Experience embedding automation and AI into People lifecycle work while maintaining controls, accuracy, privacy, and employee experience.
•Experience managing PEO relationships (e.g., Rippling, TriNet) and Global EORs (e.g., OysterHR, Deel).
•Deep knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple states; international experience is a plus.
•Hands-on ownership and optimization of modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Rippling), including vendor evaluation and implementation.
