Job Summary

Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to transition into a Retail Personal Banker I role serving a financial center. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify and meet customer needs, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and proactively set financial review appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions and support platform staff while partnering with mortgage and small business teams, managing risk, and meeting production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and schedule periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities such as presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while following policies to mitigate fraud and manage risk.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
