Job Summary

Own CAFU vehicle maintenance to keep the fleet in best-in-class condition. You’ll establish and run maintenance strategies (including FMEA-driven PMs), coordinate new-vehicle commissioning and approvals, and ensure fast repairs to restore uptime. The role also covers depot mechanical maintenance, critical spare parts supply, and compliance activities like RTA inspections and related permits.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with the Assembly Manager to receive, commission new vehicles, and execute approvals for use.
•Develop and implement maintenance strategies (from FMEA) to define PMs; track failures and drive downtime improvements to ensure vehicle uptime.
•Complete repairs to return non-functional vehicles as quickly as possible and oversee mechanical function of depot equipment.
•Coordinate registration, branding permits, licensing, RTA inspections, and other permits for the fleet (e.g., access cards).
•Undertake FMEA analysis, maintain critical spares supply, manage fuel consumption reports and fines, and provide technical input on vehicles/vendors/modifications.

Key Requirements

•Ability to understand engineering concepts.
•Ability to use MS Office.
•Ability to read engineering drawings.
•Management skills to manage a small team.
•Ability to work with tight deadlines; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
