Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively set appointments using CAMP and marketing tools. Cross-sell, support business partner referrals, process teller transactions, and meet customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and onsite presentations.
•Establish relationships with business partners and refer customers appropriately; process teller transactions and support retail loan and bankcard processes.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in appearance and verbal/written communication.
•Demonstrate working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions; position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS at time of employment.
