Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve civil and structural engineering deliverables prepared by EPC contractors and engineering consultants.
  • •Ensure designs comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes (e.g., ACI, BS, ASTM, ASCE, Eurocodes) and best practices.
  • •Oversee civil and structural design scope including foundations and equipment supports, pipe racks and structural steel systems, buildings and shelters, roads and paving, drainage and stormwater, underground utilities, and retaining/boundary structures.
  • •Monitor contractor performance, review technical queries/deviations/concessions/change requests, and participate in technical clarification meetings and design review workshops.
  • •Provide construction support by reviewing temporary works and site modifications, assisting with field issues and NCRs, and supporting inspections, commissioning, and handover activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (advantage).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) / Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent certification preferred.
  • •Typically 15+ years of civil/structural engineering experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
  • •Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PMC, EPC, or major capital projects, covering FEED through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
