Job Summary

Own and advance the HSE program by advising on safe execution of construction, installation, and commissioning activities. Partner with project and site teams on Management of Change, safety planning, trainings, permits, and inspections across air, waste, and water compliance. Deliver orientations, toolbox talks, and briefings, monitor PPE and safe work practices, and support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective-action closure.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with project management on look-ahead plans and work scopes to support safe execution of construction, installation, and commissioning.
•Follow up on Management of Change (MOC) processes and maintain Texas environmental regulatory knowledge (Air, Waste, Water).
•Conduct daily site safety inspections and observations, including verifying PPE use, permit-to-work compliance, and safe work practices.
•Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety briefings; organize safety campaigns and verify contractor/employee training records and certifications.
•Report and investigate incidents/near misses, prepare incident reports, track corrective actions to closure, and maintain safety and environmental records and statistics.

Key Requirements

•Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED).
•Have at least 4 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).
•Have experience in construction, installation, and commissioning activities (minimum 3 additional years).
•Have at least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing and repair shop environment.
•Be bilingual/fluent in Spanish and English and be able to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
