Key Responsibilities

  • •Own real problems on a small team and create obvious, measurable value.
  • •Work deep on one or two areas such as software/ML, lab automation, biology workflows, or operations/logistics bottlenecks.
  • •Build internal tools, data pipelines, automation scripts, and evaluate models (if in software/ML track).
  • •Enable lab automation by integrating instruments/work cells and building hardware glue (if in lab automation track).
  • •Support and improve production workflows in the lab and troubleshoot issues affecting experiments and assay development (if in biology/operations track).

Key Requirements

  • •Be a student or recent graduate, or early in your path (explicit early-career role).
  • •Lead with proof you’ve built something (project, repo, paper, hack, competition win, etc.).
  • •Work independently on unfamiliar problems and make progress quickly.
  • •Learn fast and stay generalist across domains without being precious about the type of problem.
  • •Be AI-native and comfortable building with coding agents like Claude Code.
