Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement strategic sales plans for grinding aid/cement additives and achieve sales targets for assigned cement plant accounts.
  • •Plan and execute grinding aid trials at customer cement mills, coordinating with plant technical and production teams to evaluate output, fineness, energy consumption, and cement quality results.
  • •Translate trial results into clear value propositions and optimize dosage recommendations based on each plant’s raw material and process conditions.
  • •Gather and analyze market intelligence on cement plant capacity, clinker factor targets, SCM usage, and competitor grinding aid activity; report insights to support commercial decisions.
  • •Coordinate information and documentation across Sika Vietnam and external stakeholders to ensure trial support, quotations, contracts, deliveries, and after-sales services align with Sika policies; comply with EHS requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field; cement or chemistry background preferred.
  • •Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in the cement industry, building materials, or chemical additives business, with exposure to grinding aids or cement additives preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of cement grinding processes (Ball Mill, Vertical Roller Mill, HoroMill) and cement quality parameters (Blaine fineness, strength development, powder flowability).
  • •Ability to interpret plant production and laboratory test data and translate results into value propositions.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working proficiency in English; able to work independently and travel frequently to cement plants nationwide.
