Job Summary

Oversee and manage Carvana’s real estate portfolio at the corporate HQ in Tempe, handling lease administration, property workflows, and day-to-day property management. Lead landlord and tenant relationships, supervise recurring payments and obligations, and maintain reporting, COI distribution, and portfolio data quality. Support moderately complex real estate legal work—drafting standard legal notices and conducting lease reviews—while coordinating with attorneys under supervision, and improving legal workflow at the property level.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee key lease administration and property ownership workflows while building systems and processes to support the expanding real estate portfolio.
•Serve as primary point of contact for landlord/tenant relationships and escalated issues, coordinating daily activities and improving cross-functional execution.
•Supervise recurring rent payment, tax payment, insurance requirements, contractual obligations, and facilities/maintenance team efforts; prepare operational and financial reporting.
•Draft, review, and obtain approval for standard legal notices and landlord–tenant communications under attorney supervision; conduct lease reviews and interpret provisions.
•Lead lease administration workflow (estoppels, SNDAs, access requests) and assist with title/survey review, diligence checklists, and closing binder management as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required (or a combination of relevant experience and education).
•5+ years of directly relevant experience in property management, real estate operations, or a corporate/legal environment with substantial real estate exposure, with experience in transactional real estate and lease administration.
•Demonstrated ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and handle problems with sound judgment.
•Superior issue-spotting and leadership skills to motivate teams and manage cross-departmental operational priorities.
•Proficiency with lease interpretation, contract review, and legal notice drafting; comfort with risk analysis and escalating matters to an attorney when needed.
