Job Summary

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team building Wise Business invoicing and payment experiences, including Payment Links, QuickPay (with QR codes), invoice publishing, payment matching, and reconciliation. You’ll set technical direction, manage engineers’ growth and performance, own the team’s roadmap across reliability, security, and observability, and partner with Product, design, and analytics to break down customer problems into shippable work using an AI-first development approach.

•Lead and develop engineers through feedback, coaching, performance management, and career conversations, and support hiring and onboarding.
•Partner with the Product Manager to decide priorities and translate them into work the team can ship and learn from.
•Own the engineering roadmap covering reliability, security, observability, and technical debt.
•Drive improvements across invoice publishing, payment matching, reconciliation, and the first-time customer experience.
•Guide cross-discipline decisions spanning frontend, backend, mobile, data, and services owned by other teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 105,000 - 135,000 annually
