Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the set-up, transformation and delivery of major programmes by applying procurement/commercial expertise to optimise commercial performance and value.
  • •Guide clients in establishing optimal commercial approaches across the asset lifecycle and across the commercial lifecycle from market intelligence to strategy development.
  • •Develop and translate client visions into realistic commercial solutions, including incentivisation and deployment of commercial management strategies, processes, tools and systems.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams internally and externally to deliver change management and implement commercial service transformation products/methodologies.
  • •Build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels and support business generation opportunities with senior leadership and wider teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep understanding of infrastructure, defence and/or energy and natural resources markets and related commercial requirements.
  • •Experience delivering projects within commercial/transformational environments and operating in large-scale, complex environments.
  • •Familiarity with construction industry context, models and initiatives (e.g. Construction Playbook, Project 13); awareness of public/sector procurement regulations.
  • •Qualified, or in an advanced process of becoming qualified in MCIPS, RICS or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
  • •Experience leading and managing multiple projects with strong communication skills (active listening, presentation, written communication) and ability to thrive in multi-stakeholder environments.
