Job Summary

Own end-to-end project cost control for Dubai Holding Real Estate: ensure tender awards and contracts align with approvals and budget guidelines, monitor budgets and cost reports, and track EAC/CAPEX targets. Partner with development, finance, and construction teams to validate progress and deliver transparent reporting. Identify cost risks, drive mitigation and cost-saving opportunities, manage RFC approvals, and maintain cost databases using market benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure tender awards and contract agreements comply with company policies, approvals, and budget guidelines.
•Oversee project cost control by monitoring budgets, reviewing cost reports, and addressing deviations.
•Track project financial performance, including EAC and CAPEX targets, and ensure budget alignment with development and finance teams.
•Collaborate with construction teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate progress tracking and transparent financial reporting.
•Review and approve project financial changes (RFCs) and lead cost review discussions while maintaining cost databases and market benchmarks.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying; CCP, PMP, or RICS preferred.
•10–12+ years of experience in cost control, including developer-side exposure in construction/real estate.
•Strong expertise in cost control, budget management, financial analysis, and project cost tracking.
•Proficiency with project management and financial systems such as Primavera/MS Project, SAP/Oracle, and Excel.
•Experience managing costs, interpreting financial/contractual data, and handling contract management, procurement, and supplier/vendor management.
