Job Summary

Develop and deployment-focused pricing data science role within Marshmallow’s Pricing team. Build and iteratively improve pricing models (GLMs/GBMs) using SQL and Python/R, derive insights from quote/policy/claims data, and collaborate across engineering and MLENG to implement data-driven pricing decisions that impact loss ratio, underwriting footprint, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Developing a deep understanding of Marshmallow’s quote, policy and claims data and use this to derive insights that can be used to enhance our pricing.
•Owning one of the strategic initiatives of the pricing team, such as supporting our expansion plans or protecting our renewing customers.
•Communicating & getting buy-in for your plans to heads of & directors cross functionally.
•Conducting claims analysis and claims modelling using SQL and Python.
•Conducting price optimisation analysis/modelling using Python.
