Own and improve quality management programs to support New Product Development (NPD), Engineering to Order (ETO), and Design to Order (DTO) projects at the Grand Rapids campus. Lead quality gate reviews, investigations, and early launch containment activities using tools like SCAR, Controlled Shipping, and PPAP. Perform advanced quality analysis (DPPM, NCM) to drive performance improvements, ensure ISO compliance, and partner with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve quality issues early.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a core quality team member for New Product Development (NPD), Engineering to Order (ETO), and Design to Order (DTO) projects at the Grand Rapids campus.
•Support project teams during meetings and gate reviews by sharing quality status topics across project phases.
•Investigate major quality disruptions using tools such as Controlled Shipping, SCAR, and Warranty/MQD recovery.
•Perform advanced quality analysis (Quality Systems, DPPM, NCM) to identify trends and propose actions to improve new product launches and ongoing changes.
•Ensure compliance with the ISO Quality System and execute/monitor Manufacturing Readiness Tracker per BOS and Early Launch Containment activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or 8+ years of experience as an AQE.
•Previous manufacturing experience is required.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
•Experience in quality management, operations, lean manufacturing processes, and visual management.
•Working knowledge of tool design, Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing, and dimensional metrology.
