Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections of construction projects for compliance with contract requirements, department standards, and specifications.
  • •Conduct quality assurance testing of materials, including sampling, documentation, and verification that materials meet contract and departmental requirements.
  • •Schedule and control test procedures for compaction control and random soils sampling programs.
  • •Update the daily inspection log and compile construction data and records measurements (including drawings and photographs).
  • •Compute quantities of work performed and materials used to support documentation for contractor payment.
