Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team, fostering innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
  • •Drive the architectural vision and long-term technical roadmap for the Validation and Eval product suite to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
  • •Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define features and translate business requirements into technical designs
  • •Lead the design and implementation of complex, mission-critical components of the Validation and Eval tools
  • •Champion engineering best practices through design and code reviews and by contributing directly to the codebase when needed

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of commercial software development with at least one JVM language (e.g., Java) and preferably the Spring ecosystem, paired with strong Python experience
  • •2+ years leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of software engineers to achieve high-impact results
  • •Solid software architecture and development experience
  • •Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks (e.g., DeepEval, Ragas, Promptfoo) and related harnesses and benchmarking/scoring approaches, including LLM-as-a-judge methodologies
  • •Experience in application/database modernization, including understanding change data capture, event-driven database interception (MongoDB listeners, RDBMS triggers), and state comparison algorithms with exclusions
