Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, report, and investigate patient safety events using systems analysis methodologies.
  • •Lead the MCSA patient safety culture through quality improvement initiatives and awareness of risks and mitigations.
  • •Identify hospital training needs to build a patient safety and quality improvement culture.
  • •Manage clinical audits and accreditations and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including medico-legal investigations.
  • •Support infection prevention and control management in the absence of the IPC specialist.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Nurse qualification.
  • •3+ years of Professional Nurse experience in a hospital.
  • •1 year of IPC link nurse experience.
  • •Ability to identify, report, and investigate patient safety using systems analysis methodology.
  • •Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office) and ability to classify adverse events and write reports.
