Job Summary

Support Business Accounting and Compliance Reporting for APAC monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities. Help with data reconciliations and system tie-outs, perform forecast vs. actual variance analysis, and track data hygiene across BI tools and financial databases. Participate in process-improvement “Fresh Eyes” initiatives by building scripted automation (Python/SQL/Google Apps Script), supporting interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and maintaining BI workflow documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Support APAC monthly, quarterly, and year-end close by validating data and executing system tie-outs, including releases and revenue tie-outs and ending backlog.
•Cross-check data between internal systems and final reporting outputs to ensure accuracy.
•Conduct forecast vs. actual gap analysis, track variances, and create alerts to drive data cleanup and validation.
•Assist with system loading checks to ensure data flows correctly between BI tools and financial databases.
•Shadow and improve BI reporting processes by building scripted solutions, updating dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and maintaining BI workflow documentation.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics (recognized university) and maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
•Basic exposure to Python and SQL, with willingness to apply them for data extraction and automation.
•Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
•Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and eagerness to learn advanced tools like Google Apps Script.
•Detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple assignments with changing priorities.
