Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to customer service requests, including connections and disconnections, as qualified.
  • •Install, program, and operate WMR equipment as necessary, and may read meters and record usage for billing.
  • •Inform customers of needed repairs, answer basic questions, and ensure customer satisfaction with completed work.
  • •Complete and maintain accurate records and reports to meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • •Assist with emergency responsiveness for natural gas and other emergencies; may perform standby duty and emergency call-outs.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • •Requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with company standards.
  • •Must complete assigned classes, Operator Qualifications (OQ), and OJT specific to the Service Learning Path and maintain required OQs and training.
  • •Requires ability to use the company’s internet/intranet for data entry, reference, and retrieval.
  • •Must complete required safety training and follow safety procedures in a safety-sensitive role, including pre and post-employment screenings (e.g., drug testing and MVR checks).
