Job Summary

Design and support AMD’s AI server product by working in a board design team with cross-functional engineering groups (EE, Power, Layout). Evaluate and select electronic components (ICs, semiconductors, passive parts) to meet project requirements, identify alternate/second sources, and serve as the technical interface with suppliers. Mitigate component EOL and PCNs while helping drive next-generation server design needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with server hardware design teams to evaluate and select electronic components (ICs, semiconductors, passive parts) based on technical specs and reliability.
•Identify potential second sources or alternates for electronic board mounted components.
•Serve as the technical interface with suppliers to collect and drive component product roadmaps for next-generation server design needs.
•Mitigate component End-of-Life (EOL) or PCNs (Product Change Notifications).
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EE, Power, Layout) to deliver high-quality component solution proposals and multiple source candidates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: TWD 1,965,180 - 2,807,400 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years relevant work experience in component design & application support.
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•In-depth understanding of basic engineering principles.
•Operational command of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
