Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver FEED and design for planning/feasibility studies for energy storage systems, including associated grid connections, control, and metering.
  • •Develop BESS balance-of-plant (BOP) systems designs for large projects and frameworks.
  • •Create grid connection solutions for energy storage and renewables across 11kV–400kV voltage levels.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative design solutions.
  • •Provide support and gain exposure to bidding, project, and quality management activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Experience in FEED designer, detailed design, or owner’s engineer roles.
  • •Experience designing HV grid connections, including metering and control requirements for battery storage installations, including BESS collocated with renewables.
  • •Knowledge of grid connection requirements for renewables and energy storage, including G99, G100, and grid code requirements for transmission-connected assets.
  • •Experience with electrical plant and control systems (e.g., transformers, cables, circuit breakers, HV protection & control).
