Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing technical direction, mentoring, and workflow management to achieve objectives and milestones.
  • •Oversee timely delivery of artifacts and releases aligned to program milestones, ensuring adherence to Thales processes and continuous improvement.
  • •Facilitate technical reviews and workshops, and support discipline managers in defining and tailoring processes, practices, and tools.
  • •Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align team capabilities with customer requirements, manage scope, and negotiate solutions.
  • •Identify and assess risks, define and maintain delivery metrics, lead Technical and Financial Reviews (TFR), and support bid activity with engineering cost estimates.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.
  • •7+ years managing development of real-time distributed, complex, software-centric solutions in a safety-critical environment.
  • •Proven experience leading multi-skilled global engineering teams and fostering collaborative delivery.
  • •Experience conducting formal design and architectural reviews for cloud-scale orchestration/frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes) and/or cloud-native solutions.
  • •Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices (e.g., SLSA v1.1) and cybersecurity controls (e.g., NIST), plus Earned Value Management and work package control/scheduling tools.
