Job Summary

Design, develop, and rapidly prototype AI-enabled software solutions to accelerate productivity across Emerson’s Test & Measurement (NI) business unit. Build AI applications, agents, and workflows that integrate with enterprise systems—starting in the Microsoft ecosystem and expanding to Snowflake, Salesforce, and Oracle. Collaborate with product owners and analysts to validate needs, deliver measurable value, and strengthen developer enablement through reusable patterns.

•Design and develop AI-enabled software solutions to accelerate productivity across the Test & Measurement (NI) business unit.
•Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-driven applications, agents, and workflows using short feedback loops.
•Integrate applications with enterprise systems starting in the Microsoft ecosystem and expanding to Snowflake, Salesforce, and Oracle.
•Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and business partners to validate needs and deliver measurable value.
•Build reusable patterns and guide others in effective use of AI tools while maintaining high standards for software quality, security, and reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-quality applications.
•Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, including Python and modern web frameworks (e.g., React or Vue).
•Experience building applications integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
•Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
