Job Summary

Head of Finance in Manila leads the entire finance function for HelloConnect Philippines, acting as financial custodian and strategic co-pilot. You’ll partner with local leadership and Berlin-based Global Finance, oversee accounting, controlling, tax and payroll, drive FP&A and budgeting, champion digital finance transformation, and mentor a local team of 8-10 FTEs to ensure compliant, value-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end FP&A, budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering board-level financial reporting and strategic insights
•Serve as strategic financial partner to the Manila leadership team, translating metrics into operational actions for headcount planning, infrastructure, cost efficiency and local expansion
•Act as a Global-Local bridge to the Berlin-based Finance team, ensuring local nuances are captured in global consolidated reporting
•Develop, lead and mentor a high-performing local finance team of 8-10 FTEs across the Philippines, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement
•Oversee daily operations of Accounting, Controlling and Payroll, ensuring compliance with local tax/regulatory requirements and managing audits

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field; CPA/CFA/MBA advantageous but not mandatory
•Proven leadership experience in a finance function with a track record of building high-performing teams (BPO/tech/multinational shared services preferred)
•Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting skills and IFRS experience; ability to explain complex financial dynamics to non-finance stakeholders
•Experience partnering with a global HQ and navigating cross-border collaboration in a matrix organization
•Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with Workday Adaptive or other EPM tools
